Work- Life Balance Hacks


How many of us feel the urge to spend time alone and sit calmly? Almost every one. That's my point today. In today's competitive world, our mind runs faster than our body. It jumps from one node to another faster than bullet.

Did you ever think, that half of our fatigue comes from the stressed mind? Our day to day work life is getting busier day to day. Work-Life balance is nowhere to be seen in vicinity. The life outside our work is getting shorter in duration. Family time has almost become 3rd, 4th or what not, number in priority today. 

This way of lifestyle has it's own consequences. Numerous diseases have now found their home in us. Stress, Blood Pressure, Depression etc.are like common terms today. It's like every single person out there is a common friend to us in terms of these diseases. Most of us don't understand, that this ultimately has an adverse effect on our work. 

It's not that we are not aware about it, but we have become so involved in our work, that we are unable to make time to do something to help ourselves. Studies says the best way to resolve such problem is to divert your mind from it. From there comes the necessity to write this article today. There are many ways which can aid in solving this problem, such as exercise, meditation, proper sleep, healthy diet, drinking water etc.

Yes, absolutely these are some ways which are going to help you. Work-Life balance can be made balanced using these methods. However, to initiate this make it clear one think that Work is work till you are in office. At home there is only life no work. This small notion can play a pivotal role to manage your peace of mind. Make it a practice to stay calm or just listen to soothing music every day for 15 mins after you are back from work.

Relax Your Mind, by closing your eyes and staying calm. This helps your lungs to inhale right amount of air. You can also do some light exercises after that, to strengthen your breathing and blood flow. Drink water properly the rest of the day and take a proper nap at night.

We all know that it is getting difficult day by day to maintain peace of mind, however spending merely 15-30 mins a day on yourself would ultimately make you better at your work and maintain a proper work-life balance. TRY IT!
